The NFL Network released another portion of their top 100 players list for 2020 on Tuesday night with numbers 40-11, and four Bucs heard their name called.

The four players to make the list went in order of receiver Chris Godwin at 38, outside linebacker Shaq Barrett at 32, wide receiver Mike Evans was soon after listing in at 30, and the newest Buc, Tom Brady, was the best rated player for Tampa Bay with a ranking of 14.

For Godwin and Barrett, this was their first time making the list. And Barrett is the only undrafted free agent out of the entire countdown to be on it as well.

In the process of compiling the list, NFL players took an off-season poll where they vote on their fellow players based on their performance for the most recent NFL season.

All of these Bucs players join fellow teammate Lavonte David, who was listed as number 100 when the announcement first started on Monday night.

It was a milestone season for the incumbent Buccaneers that found out there rankings on Tuesday in many different ways. Godwin had a breakout season with the Bucs in his third year, leading the team with 86 receptions for 1,333 yards and nine touchdowns on the way to earning his first Pro Bowl and second team All-Pro honors.

Barrett, who also made the Pro Bowl and had a breakout year, was the NFL sack leader with 19.5 sacks. Though Barrett was franchised tagged by the Bucs after his stellar season, he will almost triple his salary compared to a year ago. Barrett also led the Bucs with 37 quarterback hits and 19 tackles for loss.

Evans sees himself on the NFL’s top 100 for the fourth time in his career after a Pro Bowl season of 67 catches, 1,157 yards and eight scores. Evans’ season was special for the fact that he reached two personal accolades – breaking the Bucs’ previous franchise record for career receptions of 430, which now stands 462, and joining Hall Of Famer Randy Moss in exclusive company as the only players in NFL history to record over 1,000 yards in the first six seasons of their career.

While Brady was the highest ranked Buc in terms of prestige on this list, it was the lowest that he’s ever been ranked since the NFL’s top 100 rankings began in 2011. Brady has been in the top 10 ever year until now, including three times as number one overall. With that said, Brady is coming off a solid year, throwing for 4,057 yards and 24 touchdowns.
