The Bucs will elevate wide receiver Josh Pearson and cornerback Ross Cockrell from Tampa Bay’s practice squad to the active roster for their Week 5 match-up against the Bears on Thursday night, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
Significant injuries have plagued the Bucs’ receiving corps, with Chris Godwin and Justin Watson ruled out while the status of Mike Evans and Scotty Miller remain questionable, and Pearson could see action tonight if either were forced to ultimately sit out the contest.
