The Bucs will elevate wide receiver Josh Pearson and cornerback Ross Cockrell from Tampa Bay’s practice squad to the active roster for their Week 5 match-up against the Bears on Thursday night, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

Significant injuries have plagued the Bucs’ receiving corps, with Chris Godwin and Justin Watson ruled out while the status of Mike Evans and Scotty Miller remain questionable, and Pearson could see action tonight if either were forced to ultimately sit out the contest.

Could the Bucs go out and get Mohamed Sanu now that he’s a FA?

I mean, they might be suiting up *practice squad* receivers and Cyril Grayson didn’t even play college football.

He played Hs Football and He’s been on 5 different teams practice squads though Haha. He was here at the end of last year and Arians said he had good hands despite that one that the wind took and bounced off his helmet. With his speed if he can catch the ball maybe he can at least help out I guess.

It says Josh Pearson is inactive for the game today. They brought him up from the Practice Squad only to have him in active? Is that just to get him ready moving forward? Seems weird.
