While this article is for most disappointing, what the Tampa Bay Bucs did in their 38-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers was nothing short of impressive. The Bucs had a dominant, statement win over an undefeated team that was sparked by a Jamel Dean pick-six and led to 38 unanswered points.

I know the readers here on PewterReport.com are an intelligent, passionate bunch, so I’m not going to lie to you and say that there was not much to be disappointed with when you come away with a victory like this. With that said, these were the most disappointing players from the Bucs best win of the year.

RB LeSean McCoy

The veteran running back returned to the lineup after missing last week with an injury and didn’t have much to show for it. Father Time gets to every athlete (except for maybe Tom Brady) and it looks like it’s gotten to McCoy as well. McCoy was stopped short on a third-and-two on the opening drive of the game, and wasn’t able to make anyone miss on his other carries. Overall, he just hasn’t showed the burst of speed that he once had. McCoy finished the game with four rushes for one yard and once catch for six yards.

RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn

Vaughn didn’t see the field much in this game, but when put in for an important moment in the fourth quarter, Vaughn let a pass from Tom Brady go straight through his hands and off of his face mask. The ball popped up right into the air, and Vaughn was extremely lucky it wasn’t picked off. The Bucs had a comfortable lead at the time, but you never want to give your opponent an extra opportunity with the game in command. Vaughn ran well during mop-up time with Blaine Gabbert in as quarterback, totaling 42 yards on five carries.

WR Mike Evans

This is another game of the season where Evans was held in check with 10 receiving yards. It seems like each week Evans will either burst out with over 100 yards receiving or barely see the ball. In Evans’ other two pedestrian games, he made his mark by reaching the end zone, but in this one, he had just one reaction for 10 yards. Evan didn’t have much of an impact this afternoon, but he wasn’t needed in this one. Evans is still not 100 percent health wise, dealing with an ankle injury.

CB Sean-Murphy Bunting 

While Jamel Dean had a pick-six and Carlton Davis was breaking up passes, Murphy-Bunting struggled. Murphy-Bunting had a couple of blown coverages in pass coverage and missed a tackle in the run game. He hasn’t exactly looked right since suffering a groin injury in Denver and it’s fair to question how much it could still be affecting him. Murphy-Bunting had four tackles in the game.

RG Alex Cappa 

Cappa played efficient for the most part, but he had a couple of slip-ups in the third quarter. He was beat on back-to-back plays during one Bucs drive, with one play leading to a significant loss in the backfield on a LeSean McCoy run. It’s one thing to get beat on a play, but it’s another to lose so bad that the defender is in the backfield before the running back has even secured the ball. The offensive line had a great outing, this was just a minor hiccup.
