The Bucs had a few players leave Sunday’s 48-25 victory over the Atlanta Falcons with injuries. Jamel Dean, Carlton Davis and Mike Evans all left briefly, only to return to the action. Kick returner Jaydon Mickens was ruled out with a hip injury in the second quarter. Head coach Bruce Arians was asked about the status of Mickens on Monday, and if any other injuries have him concerned.
“A couple guys are in the MRI tubes we’ll find out later,” Arians said. “‘Mick’ [Mickens] is another one. We really don’t have any information on any of those guys at this [point]. We’ll know some more about five o’clock, maybe on a couple. I don’t think we are going to have anything serious come out of this game.”

While we don’t know who any of those “other guys” are at this time, losing anyone at this point would be a blow for the Bucs. If Jaelon Darden is not yet ready to take over at returner, Scotty Miller, Giovani Bernard and Antonio Brown could be return options if Mickens is out. Losing Mickens for any period of time would be tough for a return unit that has been a bright spot.
The Bucs can’t afford to lose more bodies in the secondary. Davis popped up on the final injury report with a questionable designation on Friday, but played well on Sunday. The third-year corner left the game in the first quarter for two snaps, but returned to action. Evans looked to tweak his ankle at one point and limped off the field for a couple snaps in the second half. Dean missed six plays due to injury, but returned to play 92 percent of the defensive snaps.
