Brady completed 24 of 36 passes for 276 yards and five touchdowns in Tampa Bay’s 48-25 win over Atlanta. He now has nine touchdowns on the season, which leads the entire league. Those scores went twice each to Rob Gronkowski and Mike Evans with his fifth of the game going to Chris Godwin.
Other quarterbacks that were nominated were Derek Carr from the Raiders and Kyler Murray of the Cardinals. Unlike last week, the voting wasn’t really close this time as Brady garnered 52 percent of the vote. This makes it 14 FedEx Air Player Of The Week awards that Brady has won, including four with Tampa Bay.
The Bucs have quite the showdown coming up for their next game against the 2-0 Rams at 4:25 on Sunday. This will be Brady’s first game of his career in Los Angeles.
