The Bucs had five days off following the team’s 28-22 win at Philadelphia on Thursday night. After reviewing the film on Tuesday the team hit the practice field on Wednesday without a couple of key players due to injury. Bucs head coach Brian Arians provided an update after practice.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and tight end O.J. Howard suffered injuries in the victory over the Eagles. Outside linebacker Jason Pierre is still dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out of two games, but he returned to action at Miami, and played against Philadelphia.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski (ribs), cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) and linebacker Lavonte David (ankle) all missed practice due to previous injuries. Arians said that David is making progress and might have a chance to return to action against Chicago this Sunday.
“Really good,” Arians said. “He’s one of the guys I’ve got my fingers crossed for.”
