There was a mixed bag of players in and out of practice for Wednesday as the Bucs game plan for Sunday’s road game against the Falcons. The headliners were Antonio Brown and Ali Marpet, but there were many more players in question that Bruce Arians updated the status of on Wednesday.

Safety Mike Edwards and offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie  were out with knee injuries, while defensive tackle Will Gholston did not practice because of a wrist injury.  Linebacker Devin White was able to practice and there was encouraging news as well with cornerback Carlton Davis III practicing along with Jamel Dean participating in a non-contact jersey.

Meanwhile, wide receiver and return specialist Jaelon Darden is still in concussion protocol.

Starting with the defensive backs, it would be huge news if they were all able to play on Sunday considering all of the top starters haven’t been together as a complete unit since Week 1.

“There’s a good chance,” Arians said. “Carlton looked real good again today, he had a nice week last week, his volume is picking up a little bit. Sean (Murphy-Bunting) did well last week, so fingers crossed we’ll start getting them all back.”

It looks like Gholston will be good to go as well as Arians made it sound like he was just receiving an extra day off.

“A wrist, nothing serious,” Arians said.

The news was not as good when it came to Stinnie, who exited the Colts game early in the first half. That knee issue may keep him out for an extended period of time and he was placed on injured reserve Wednesday afternoon.

“Probably looking like a longer injury,” Arians said.

Arians didn’t have too much of an update on White other than that his quad and hip injury are both on the same side. White arrived to practice right as the session open to the media was closing, but he did have his equipment on. Arians mentioned on Monday that he would be limited on Wednesday and Thursday this week to get him available for the next game.
