Just as the Bucs are getting players back from the reserve/COVID list, they are putting another on. The team has announced they have placed punter Bradley Pinion on the reserve/COVID list.
We've placed P Bradley Pinion on the reserve/COVID-19 list and activated WR Mike Evans to the active roster.

Pinion has been dealing with a hip injury for weeks now. He then missed last week’s game against the Panthers with said injury. Sterling Hofrichter was called up from the practice squad to take his place. In Pinion’s stead, the young punter performed well, landing one punt inside the Panthers’ 20.
Pinion has struggled a bit this year, posting just a 42.4 net average on his punts. That average is near the league’s bottom, ranking 28th amongst all punters. The veteran punter has been excellent on kickoffs and is one of the most reliable holders in the game.
The Bucs activated wide receiver Mike Evans and defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches from reserve/COVID this week. But they still have three other players on the list, including wide receiver Jaelon Darden and cornerbacks Sean Murphy-Bunting and Jamel Dean. Head coach Bruce Arians and wide receivers coach Kevin Garver also remain sidelined with COVID.
The Bucs will travel to New York to take on the Jets this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm EST.
