The Bucs went with another Miami player in this year’s draft class, this time going with defensive back Keionte Scott in the fourth round. Scott is lightning fast, running a 4.3 40-yard dash and is a hard hitting player that is timely when blitzing.
Scott spent time at Snow College and Auburn before playing last season at Miami. He had his best season yet showing his versatility by recording five sacks and having seven pass breakups with two interceptions and two pick-sixes. He’s also a kick returner. It’s likely he’ll play nickel along with the safety position.
