The Bucs were in a relatively healthy spot heading into their season opener a week ago, and now, heading into Sunday’s 2026 home opener against the Browns at Raymond James Stadium, they still find themselves in a decent spot.

On the final injury report of the week that was released Friday afternoon, Tampa Bay had only three players listed as questionable for its Week 2 game against Cleveland. Wide receiver Jalen McMillan (knee), who missed the opener at Cincinnati was among them, as were cornerback Jacob Parrish (back) and safety/key special teamer Miles Killebrew (concussion protocol). In his final update after Friday’s practice, Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said McMillan and Parrish would be game-time decisions, while Killebrew would need to clear protocol in time for Sunday’s game.

With the release of the Week 2 gameday inactives, we now know that McMillan and Killebrew are good to go, as is running back Sean Tucker after he missed the opener with a hamstring injury. But on the downside, Parrish is inactive after injuring his back in Tampa Bay’s Week 1 loss.

Without Parrish, the Bucs will once again turn to his fellow second-year cornerback, Benjamin Morrison, to play outside on the opposite side from Zyon McCollum. Morrison stepped in and stepped up for the Buccaneer defense when Parrish exited last week’s game, putting together an especially good performance in terms of tackling. After missing much of his rookie year and a lot of this offseason with hamstring issues, Morrison is now set to step into a starting role Sunday.

Losing Parrish hurts, but considering he was a game-time decision for Sunday, it feels like it shouldn’t be a prolonged absence for the versatile corner.

And back on the offensive side of the ball, having McMillan and Tucker back is a big plus for the Bucs. McMillan gives quarterback Baker Mayfield his full complement of receivers to work with against the Browns. The third-year receiver should add another element to Tampa Bay’s passing game, as he can threaten Cleveland’s defense vertically and open up space underneath for the likes of Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin Jr., the running backs and tight end Cade Otton.

Having Tucker back is good news, too, as it gives offensive coordinator Zac Robinson all three of his talented backs to work with. Not to mention, Tucker was a major asset down near the goal line for Tampa Bay last year.

Browns Are Relatively Healthy For Sunday’s Game Against Bucs

The Browns found themselves in good shape with Friday’s injury report, too, with only guard Teven Jenkins (back) ruled out. Cornerback Tyson Campbell (ankle) was a limited participant in Friday’s practice and carried a questionable tag heading into the weekend, but other than that, no one else carried any injury designations.

As it turns out, Campbell is good to go for this game and Cleveland comes into town pretty healthy overall. Here’s the full list of inactives for the Browns ahead of Sunday’s game at Raymond James Stadium.

Kickoff for Sunday’s game between the Bucs and Browns in Tampa is set for 1:00 p.m.
