The Bucs had a new addition on Thursday’s injury report, and one that they don’t want to see. Starting left tackle Tristan Wirfs did not participate due to a toe injury. He was not on the injury report at all the day before, so this is a new issue that popped up. Anytime an All-Pro player like Wirfs pops up out of the blue, especially since it sounds like it occurred at practice.
With that said, Wirfs was seen in the locker room on Thursday and seemed to be in pretty good spirts. Friday’s practice will be a better indicator for whether he’ll be able to go in Sunday’s Primetime game. Tampa Bay’s offensive line has been a catalyst for their winning streak. They’ve helped up well injury-wise for the most part. Only right tackle Luke Goedeke missed a game in Week 7, but he came back the following week.

Other than the scare about Wirfs, the Bucs had positive news on the injury report. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka practiced in full, while defensive tackle also returned to practice. There was an upgrade for Kenny Gainwell, too, and there were a couple of rest days for players. Only Yaya Diaby was out for the second consecutive day.
Here’s the full injury report from the Bucs and Bears from today.
