The Bucs had two players return to practice on Thursday after missing the previous day. Running back Sean Tucker and cornerback Ayden Garnes were both limited participants in an upgrade to their status.
Tucker had more snaps given to him in Tampa Bay’s last game, and if he continues to excel there’s a chance that he can continue to get more opportunities as the season goes along.

Because corner Benjamin Morrison practiced for the second day in a row, it does mean Garnes could be a game day inactive for Sunday’s game against the Steelers, although it’s good to know that the Bucs have options after Morrison missed the last two games.
Also practicing for the second straight day was inside linebacker SirVocea Dennis, who does get some defensive snaps when the Bucs implement three inside linebackers in a couple of different defensive looks.
When it comes to the spotlight on quarterback Baker Mayfield, we can end all of the speculation for the possibility of him playing. Mayfield was seen out at practice on Thursday, but not in a helmet and uniform. This indicates he still can’t grip a football well enough to play in a game, so rookie Jalon Daniels will start for the third time this season.
