There was an unexpected addition to the final Bucs injury report on Friday ahead of their next matchup. Starting rookie inside linebacker Josiah Trotter was added with a knee injury after not being on the list all week. Trotter did practice on a limited basis, but it certainly comes as a surprise and he is questionable for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh.

The rookie inside linebacker has missed one game on the season, but also leads the team in tackles. Another inside linebacker, SirVocea Dennis, is also listed as questionable and practiced in full. There’s a good chance that Dennis plays, so the Bucs will have enough depth with Alex Anzalone and Christian Rozeboom if Trotter can’t go.

Other players listed as questionable for Tampa Bay are corner Ayden Garnes and running back Sean Tucker. Head coach Todd Bowles said after Friday’s practice that Tucker will be a game time decision.

Tampa Bay also has one player doubtful in cornerback Benjamin Morrison. He had practiced all week, but it appears that the team is going to be cautious with him the same way they were during training camp when Morrison sat our for probably more than he needed to. With the great play that the team has gotten from starters Jacob Parrish and Zyon McCollum, they can afford to let Morrison sit for one more week.

Players were ruled out for Sunday’s game were quarterback Baker Mayfield, safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and wide receiver David Sills V. Both Mayfield and Winfield were expected, and Sills has his 21-day window open to return from injured reserve.

The Bucs are looking to make it two wins in a row when they play at home on Sunday against the Steelers. Here was the final injury report for each team.
