Bucs Practice Buzz is a weekly segment on Pewter Report’s YouTube channel Pewter Report TV where we highlight the biggest moments and clips from the day of practice from the Advent Health Training Center.

There was a lot of great insight at Thursday’s practice for the Bucs. We heard from offensive coordinator Zac Robinson and he revealed some fascinating information that he and the quarterbacks had a “tough conversation” on Monday to start the week about the struggles in the passing game.

It’s no secret that Tampa Bay’s offense has struggled throwing the football, and they needed to set the record straight about the problems with this team.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield also spoke for the first time in several weeks. He commented on the important meeting that needed to be had with Zac Robinson. Mayfield was asked aplenty about throwing with the glove on and all the factors that are involved with keeping it for the game. He expressed the comfortability aspect of the glove and what it can allow him to do coming back from the thumb injury.

We spoke with co-defensive coordinator George Edwards about this upcoming matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Topics that Edwards got into is the progress of the pass rush, how to limit Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, and what he saw from outside linebacker Reuben Bain Jr. that got him on track.

Plus, there were some updated injury news. Take a look at the latest video to see what went on at Tampa Bay’s facility throughout the day.
