It was initially thought that the decision on the futures of Antonio Brown and Mike Edwards wouldn’t come until next Monday, but Bruce Arians now says the ruling could come down by the end of this week. Brown and Edwards were both suspended three games by the NFL for misrepresenting their vaccination status. Both Brown and Edwards provided fake vaccine cards at some point before the season, before later becoming vaccinated.

On the Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday, Arians was asked about when a decision on Brown could be expected. This one could come down to the wire.

“Later on this week,” Arians said. “It could go either way right now. It really could.”

Patrick followed up by asking Arians what the decision would be based on.

“Just continuing where those two guys are at,” Arians said.  “And where the team is at.”

Brown and Edwards have one more game remaining on their suspensions, which will take place when the Bucs host the Saints on Sunday Night Football. Both players are eligible to return the next day and play for the Bucs in their road game against the Panthers. Brown has 29 catches for 418 yards and four touchdowns this season. Meanwhile, Edwards leads the team with three interceptions.
