Tampa Bay second-year cornerback Mazzi Wilkins, who played locally at USF, was a guest on Monday’s episode of the JP Show, which appears on FanStreamSports.com and is hosted by JP Peterson. Wilkins, an undrafted free agent who was signed to the Bucs practice squad last year and then was promoted to the active roster for the final five games of the 2019 season.
Wilkins discussed Tom Brady’s arm strength, the team’s voluntary offseason workouts at Berkeley Prep, and shared a great Bruce Arians story with Peterson, in addition to his own personal story of making it to the NFL.

Wilkins is battling for a reserve spot on Tampa Bay’s 53-man roster with Herb Miller, Ryan Smith, M.J. Stewart and undrafted rookie Parnell Motley behind starters Carlton Davis, Sean Murphy-Bunting and Jamel Dean.
