On a tour in England to promote the Bucs London game against the Panthers in October, tight end Cameron Brate caught up with Nate Burleson of the NFL Network to discuss this upcoming season.
Amongst saying what it’s been like playing for new coach Bruce Arians, Brate went on to explain why people shouldn’t sleep on the Bucs this year, and why he believes they will be a surprise this year.
“You never what’s going to happen,” Brate said. “Look at the Eagles a couple of years ago. Everyone was saying they weren’t going to be good, they were picked last in the division, 6-10 the last year and they won the Super Bowl. Everyone’s got a chance, last year was last year.
We have so much talent, I think there’s just so much excitement in Tampa, I think we’re going to surprise some people this year.”
