On Thursday, the Bucs announced that they have activated defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches from the COVID list. Nunez-Roches missed last week’s game against the Panthers after testing positive. The backup defensive tackle should be available to play this week against the Jets.

The activation of Nunez-Roches leaves the Bucs with four players on the COVID list. Wide receivers Mike Evans and Jaelon Darden, as well as cornerbacks Sean Murphy-Bunting and Jamel Dean remain in protocol. Of course, head coach Bruce Arians and wide receivers coach Kevin Garver are also out due to COVID positives.
The Bucs return to action against the Jets on Sunday at 1pm.
