In light of their thin depth at safety and defensive line due to injuries, the Bucs made some corresponding moves to add to those positions on the roster.
Tampa Bay has added safety Micah Abernathy, as Rick Stroud has reported, along with signing defensive lineman Shane Bowman, per Greg Auman.
#Bucs are signing former Tennessee S Micah Abernathy, who spent some time with the Minnesota Vikings.

Abernathy played his college football at Tennessee and signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent before getting released in late July. Bowman was also an undrafted free agent that played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and was also cut in July.
He played for the University of Washington, where he was teammates with Bucs defensive tackle and 2018 first round pick, Vita Vea.
Now let’s fine a sleeper Olineman or two out there. At least for depth.
They could get Darius Philon for min salary and AZ would pay the rest,
He will be signed he has talent and attitude perfect for Bowles game face .
Glad to see getting rid of some of the old non- contributing veterans.
