The 2022 NFL Draft is the immediate focus for the Bucs. Soon after, the attention will turn to their offseason program.

Tampa Bay announced their offseason schedule on Wednesday. That gives us our first opportunity to see the 2022 rookie draft class during rookie mini-camp. Then after that comes organized training activities (OTAs) and mandatory mini-camp. Each NFL team makes their own schedule around a similar time of the year.

While most of the roster still remains from last season, we’ll get our initial glimpses at some new players. This includes Russell Gage and Shaq Mason on offense and Logan Ryan and Keanu Neal on defense.

A majority of the starters or key players don’t normally attend OTAs. Last season it was mainly just Giovani Bernard in attendance from the veterans. And he was learning a new system.

We probably won’t see Tom Brady, who retired for 41 days and then un-retired, until mandatory mini-camp in June. Brady hasn’t participated in OTAs for several years, electing to have private workouts with teammates instead.
