[visibility visible_on=”desktop”][/visibility]In the first move since OTAs began, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announce they have re-signed wide receiver/kick returner Bernard Reedy.
Reedy played in nine games for the Buccaneers last season before being waived, eventually signing with the New England Patriots. Reedy played in two games with the Patriots and spent time on their practice squad.
In total in 2017, Reedy caught two passes for 21 yards and rushed three times for 17 yards, while returning 18 punts for 175 yards and seven kickoffs for 145 yards.
Awesome…glad they brought him back…now we need another proven running back, for the right price, like A.P., Demarco Murray, Alfred Morris or Eddie Lacy
Love Reedy! I’m rooting for him. Gona be an uphill battle but he is used to them. Good luck Bernard.
Really? Meh…
I like Ready. Good guy and potential returner. We need a dynamic returner not just a sure catcher like Hump, Ryan or Rodgers. Punts returns are an offensive play in the open field and we need to take advantage.
If Bellichick thought Reedy would be any kind of an advantage in the kicking, or passing game, don’t you think he would’ve kept him on the roster? Who’s judgement do you consider better on player personal Bill’s, or Dirks?
You cant judge Bill vs Dirk. They both have totally different rosters with talents in different positions. The Talent at PR/KR for the Patriots maybe a lot better than our talent at that position therefore Reedy maybe an upgrade to us but a downgrade to them.
Bellichick isn’t always right. I thought the Bucs drafted far better than the Pats this year. And, sometimes Bellichick dumps players for reasons other than on field performance. I like the move overall.
Skyrider A.P. Is washed up and old. Lacy is a fat ass that hasn’t done much overall. Murray and Morris have little tread left on the tires but wouldn’t over pay for sure like most teams likely would.
I’m ok with Reedy back in the mix as long as Bucs didn’t overpay. He has lots of speed.
