With the Combine and free agency now in the rear-view mirror, the month of April is for teams to set up their 30 private visits/workouts with prospects that are on their radar at varying point in the draft. Sometimes these visits can be with prospects that are projected first round picks. Other times it can be with late-round guys, or even guys they want to see if they can get as prioritized undrafted free agents.
According to a report from NBC Sports’ Josh Norris, one of those visits for the Buccaneers is Florida State safety Derwin James, who is visiting the team on Wednesday.

At his Pro Day, James was asked about the possibility of being drafted by the Buccaneers.
“That is great. That is close to home. I grew up in Florida, central Florida kid. I feel like it would be great (to be drafted by the Buccaneers).”
