The Buccaneers held their Thursday practice in their brand new indoor practice facility, and as if that wasn’t enough of a treat, the season ticket holders in attendance also got a look at a “mock game” with some in-game situations.
One of the in-game situations Bucs fans are hoping to see a lot of, at least in Weeks 1-3, is Ryan Fitzpatrick going deep to Mike Evans like he did today.

But I thought Fitz had a weak arm and can’t throw the long ball? LOL. Looking forward to seeing an experienced QB for the first few weeks…
Well, he took an extra hop forward to get a little extra umph into the throw. Not sure he’ll always have that luxury come the real season.
Casey, I mentioned this in one of the other clips that’s focused on the secondary but watch Fitz’s eyes/head the whole time…..he never looks off and telegraphs where he is going….I don’t see why everyone is getting a warm and fuzzy about his ability to throw the deep ball when his mechanics are bad! Why have we not looked to bring someone else in already at the least to compete….TB is out there to be taken away from the Jets and just my opinion has more athletic ability than Fitz does.
It’s not about athletic ability or a strong arm or mechanics. It is about reading the defense, throwing to the open receiver, and hitting him in stride…
I’m just wondering why we haven’t heard much about Ronald Jones?
MWD – More Bridgewater talk huh? You think the right thing to do is bring a guy in who hasn’t played in 2 years? Add into that that he needs to learn the playbook. As a backup? Sure I’ll agree to that.
That’s only an option and an opinion Charlie, I’m by no means saying to bring him in and he takes the snaps from center day one but it wouldn’t hurt to see what he has in the tank and still relatively young.
