The Tampa Bay Buccaneers held their annual night practice on Tuesday. The Buccaneers were inside the AdventHealth Training Center for Day 6 of training camp, the second with pads on.

Following another day of training camp, let’s take a look at the list of studs and duds from the action on Tuesday.

Studs From Day 6 Of Bucs Training Camp

Ted Hurst

Ted Hurst is custom made for the NFL. Yes, he is a raw wideout out of Georgia State and will likely be the sixth or seventh option in the passing game at the start of the season, but the talent is easy to see. Look no further than Tuesday, a night where it was tough to keep receivers upright. Chris Godwin, Emeka Egbuka, and Jalen McMillan all watched from the sidelines during 11-on-11s. Tez Johnson tweaked his groin early in practice, head coach Todd Bowles said afterwards. That gave Hurst an opportunity to shine and that he did. Hurst received the first two targets from Baker Mayfield during 11-on-11s, hauling one in while Jacob Parrish broke up the other. But during red zone work, Hurst came down with an unbelievable contested catch in the back of the end zone with Zyon McCollum sticky in coverage. Impressive and arguably the highlight of the night.

Rueben Bain Jr.

Tampa Bay’s 2026 first-round selection continues to impress in training camp. In fact, he already looks like the best pass rusher on the entire team. That’s exactly what the organization is expecting and so far, he’s delivering. Bain got things started in a rep against Luke Goedeke, in which Bain had as clean a win you’ll ever see. It drew oohs and aahs from the crowd in attendance, but Bain wasn’t done there. In red zone work, he penetrated through a double team to get a would be hit on Mayfield.

Sean Tucker

Juice. Sean Tucker has juice. I said it to myself a handful of times throughout practice as he carved his way through the middle of the Buccaneers’ defense on more than one occasion. During one of the first 11-on-11 periods, Tucker exploded through the gap and in a game setting, would have been running to the end zone for six. Later, he bounced one outside and made a move on a defender as he sprinted his way out of bounds near the goal line. I don’t know how much playing time Tucker will see with a healthy Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell in the mix, but it’s clear the Buccaneers have perhaps the most valuable RB3 in football.

David Walker

Another day, another David Walker sack. Walker has now recorded a sack in each of the first six training camp practices of 2026. Coming off a torn ACL suffered on the third day of training camp last season, Walker looks to be healthy and if he keeps this up, it’ll be difficult for Bowles to not include him in the rotation with Yaya Diaby, Rueben Bain Jr., and Al-Quadin Muhammad.

Dennis Houston

The former Western Illinois Leatherneck is back for his second training camp with the Buccaneers. Last season, he was part of final roster cuts before later joining the practice squad. The Buccaneers are deep at the wide receiver position, so making this team will be an uphill climb for the 27-year-old. That being said, a performance like the one he had Tuesday night has to put him on the radar. Houston made a series of catches in 11-on-11s, both with Mayfield in at quarterback. Houston stood out amid a night where several other pass catchers had issues with drops.

Dean Patterson

Dean Patterson, the undrafted rookie out of Georgia Tech, is looking to secure a practice squad spot on the Buccaneers. Tuesday was a big night for him as he recorded not one, but two touchdowns in red zone work.

Duds From Day 6 Of Bucs Training Camp

Garrett Greene

It was a tough night for the former West Virginia quarterback turned wide receiver. By my eye, he had three drops, one of which would have been a huge gain if he came down with it. As mentioned above when discussing Houston, making this team at wide receiver will be difficult. Nights like this one do not help Greene’s case to stick around.

Devin Culp

The Buccaneers are suddenly well-stocked at tight end with Cade Otton, Payne Durham, Ko Kieft, and Bauer Sharp. Devin Culp is here as well, but he has struggled to stand out thus far in training camp. Culp wasn’t noticeable Tuesday night until the final 11-on-11 period when he dropped a gimme out of the hand of Jalon Daniels. Culp needs to catch everything if he wants to make the 53-man roster.
