Tampa Bay’s left guard Ali Marpet will be unable to suit up for the Bucs as they face the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, following a concussion suffered against the Giants in Week 8, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

Marpet also missed Tampa Bay’s Week 9 match-up against the Saints, where offensive linemen Joe Haeg got the start in his place. After significant struggles against New Orleans, we’ll wait to see whether Bruce Arians and his staff gives Haeg another start in Marpet’s place or look to a different option, potentially playing veteran A.Q. Shipley at center and moving Ryan Jensen to guard.

Every other NFL head coach can overcome injury to their QB, RB, or LT but Bruce Arians can’t seem to develop a scheme around injury to his guard… Wow, only hope we have to win is Brady.

Yes Dallas had 4 starters out on o line I think last week and almost beat Steelers. Bucs lose Godwin or Marpet and they stink. Crazy.

It’s not crazy. It’s the way Licht built the team. We don’t have five good starters and our depth sucks.

Look at what the Raiders have had to do – I think their starting five have played three SNAPS together so far this year.

But Gruden & Co know the lines matter so they’ve been able to put quality depth players in and carried on. Us? We’ve got nothing.
