Bucs’ defensive lineman Will Gholston announced on Wednesday that he will be self-isolating after coming in contact with someone outside of the team that has tested positive for COVID-19. The eight-year veteran also noted that he contracted the virus during this past offseason, recovering with minimal symptoms.
Earlier this offseason, I contracted COVID-19 and was able to get through it with relatively minimal symptoms. In recent days, I was exposed to someone outside of the team who has tested positive and am currently self-isolating for the next few days for precautionary reasons only

Gholston, a consistent producer along the Bucs’ defensive line with two sacks, four tackles for loss and 11 quarterback hits in 2020, added to his initial tweet saying that he will continue to be tested daily and expects to re-join Tampa Bay before the team’s Sunday Night Football match-up with New Orleans in Week 9.
