  1. A cover two threw them off . . . and, if they loose the next two games(which, based on today, is likely), Coach Koetter for one is fired; we’ll see about the rest.

I understand that one needs to practice timing and all, but if you can’t do simple adjustments, if you can’t make an audible to deal with a new look(a cover two, as if no-one has ever seen a cover two), because you haven’t practiced a route to beat a cover two the previous week, the players suck, and so do the coaches.

If you’re pass protection isn’t good enough for intermediate to long routes, run shorter routes, screens, run the ball more(I know, the Saints have a good run d; maybe run to the outside a little more).

    • For once, I saw Kamara actually limp after a tackle; usually, it’s our D making a body sacrifice, and Karmara comes back at full speed again . . . for a long gain or a Td.

  2. Trevor I feel you, you’re pointing out that when someone can’t get it done it makes no sense to keep the bad things going. Attendance is atrocious. Fans have lost interest. The team lacks top end talent. There will be less than 3 Pro Bowlers from this team, so you have a losing team without a ton of promise to make up for it.

Of course Scott has his reasons for why he would like to “piecemeal” changes to the struggling franchise so long as Jason stays. 50 losses and counting in less than 5 seasons. Clearly we need to keep Licht, because it could be so much worse. Instead of the GM with the 29th best record in the league we could have like the 31st. And so we should totally stay the course 🙄🙄

  3. At 7-9 the Bucs can’t keep Koetter. They must have a new voice.

  5. Easily one of the worst podcasts i’ve ever listened to. do you guys not realize how annoying it is hearing 3 different voices yelling over each other ? had to turn it off at 12 minute mark because that’s all i heard for a minute straight. mark cook have you ever heard of letting someone finish talking before saying what you have to say? just going off the little i heard you say i agree that donovan smith shouldn’t be back as LT next season. another feather out of licht draft cap. at this point i’d be surprised if he is back. bucs fans for the longest always talked about his draft picks as his saving grace,, well looking back i can’t say there is 1 complete draft that licht did well with. 2014 got us mike evans and that’s it. 2015 the jury is still out on if jameis is 100% the guy(i believe he is) marpet is good, smith is a liability and kwon is a fan favorite but inconsistent on the field and coming off a major injury. 2016 the only hope of anything of substance is vhiii and he is on his last life. still too early to completely judge his most recent drafts but it looks like he got 2 good ones in OJ & godwin in 2017. most of all where licht has lost me is on the o line though. it was supposedly his strong suit as a scout, scouting out elite o linemen yet we have a o line made up of his draft picks and FA signings and have one of the worst units in football.. the organization would benefit from a reset this regime has been around long enough and we are still a bottom tier team in the nfl.
