  1. I will say I was struck by the tone and seriousness Trevor and Mark took to Scott’s advocacy for signing Kareem Hunt. That’s important because at the end of the day these people are public figures who represent a franchise and a community and while no one is perfect there are lines that you can cross no matter you level of talent. At minimum it needs to be weighed regardless of whether Kareem Hunt can rush for 1k yards next year.

As I had recalled Scott advocating for the signing of Greg Hardy after his arrest of domestic violence years back I re-read the Fab 5 from that time. In it Scott pointed to Lovie Smith being a positive role model like he does Bruce Arians today. And what’s even more interesting is that in it there was the upcoming 2015 draft where the National Review article challenging Kinsman’s claims against Winston was linked.

I get that we should be given second chances, and I fully believe that Hunt would be a huge upgrade in the backfield, but let’s all take his potential addition with the seriousness Mark and Trevor gave it before we jump to add Hunt to the Bucs organization and the Tampa community.
