PewterReport.com and Westshore Financial present the Pewter Nation Podcast, a weekly audio hour of news, analysis and inside scoop on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers delivered with a dose of humor and insight from Bucs beat writers Scott Reynolds, Mark Cook, Taylor Jenkins and Matt Matera, who also serves as the show’s producer. Look for the Pewter Nation Podcast each week on PewterReport.com for your listening pleasure during the 2019 offseason.
After a one week suspension that wasn’t actually a suspension, the whole gang is back together as Mark Cook is back on the show to join show regulars Scott Reynolds, Matt Matera and Taylor Jenkins.
Gerald McCoy is on the move to a new team but the Bucs will get to see him twice a year. The group gets their discussion going on the outrage some fans had over the Bucs giving McCoy’s old number of 93 to Ndamukong Suh, along with how he’ll look playing in Carolina.
It was also the first day of mandatory mini-camp and Jameis Winston didn’t look as sharp as he had. Jameis has notoriously been a better quarterback on the move as to when he has time to sit back and overthink some plays, and the group breaks that down, wondering if Bruce Arians will say that and play to what he does best.
Other topics that went on in between Mark’s interruptions were the job well done by Jamel Dean and Mike Edwards, Antony Auclair and Tanner Hudson’s role on this team, and a new wrinkle for O.J. Howard in this offense.
