There’s a clear separation in talent at quarterback here at the Senior Bowl. Justin Herbert and Jordan Love have been the top quarterbacks at practice and there’s a big drop off with the others. Would Herbert be a viable option for the Bucs at the 14th pick? Will he be there at 14? We break down some of the Bucs’ options, including taking an offensive position in the first round that you might not expect.

Bruce Arians said in his last press conference before the offseason that they’re really going to take their time making a decision on Jameis Winston and they’ve stuck to that. The longer it takes, does that mean they’re more willing to part ways? It could come down to how far the gap is between how much the Bucs want to pay Winston and what Winston thinks he deserves.

The Senior Bowl was highlighted with performances by defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw and offensive tackle Josh Jones, who both lived up to their expectations. But there were some other players in the trenches and at a couple of different positions that really improved their draft stock this week, such as safety Kyle Dugger. Find out who the other top guys at practice on the new Pewter Nation Podcast.

  1. Sure would be nice to draft something other than Qb. How about trade Mike Evans after . . . or even before . . . drafting a Qb at 14? Ope, the Wr value is too high in this draft. I’ll be interesting is seeing if Licht can come up with a creative solution . . . a solution to getting the Qb, and getting an Ot or a Dt to finish off at least one side of the trenches.
