PewterReport.com presents the Pewter Nation Podcast, a weekly audio hour of news, analysis and inside scoop on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers delivered with a dose of humor and insight from Bucs beat writers Scott Reynolds, Mark Cook, Taylor Jenkins, Jon Ledyard and Matt Matera, who also serves as the show’s producer. Look for the Pewter Nation Podcast each week on PewterReport.com for your listening pleasure during the 2020 season.

Normally right now we’d be at OTAs giving you Bucs’ coverage live from the practice field, but not that’s not case right now with this pandemic. Instead, we’re discussing the intricacies of the Bucs offense and if it will have more of Bruce Arians’ or Tom Brady’s finger prints on it.

Coach Arians said he likes to have the Bucs in 12 package, but we didn’t see that as much as he says. And while it may not look like Brady could be best equipped for this style of Bucs offense, his ability to make plays happen quickly makes him fit right in.

Running back will be vital to the Bucs offense in the passing game, so can Ronald Jones live up to the task? We’ve seen his videos on social media, but now he’s got to gel with Brady. From a receivers standpoint, will Mike Evans and Chris Godwin go over 1,000 yards again? What will Rob Gronkowski’s production be? Hear it all in the new Pewter Nation Podcast.

So I have to ask, one team is interested in Colin Kapernick. I wonder who is interested in him. With the changing dynamics in the world right now, will an NFL team sign him? https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/pete-carroll-nfl-team-interested-in-colin-kaepernick/ar-BB15mnde

Let them. He was avg at best before, he’s worse now. Let the media circus flood their facilities. The “best thing” he’s ever done is taking a knee, that says a lot. He’s not worth even worrying about anymore.

Is this really the same silly question? Of course it will be Arians/Leftwich’s Offense and they will tailor it to Brady’s strengths while pushing him a little. All while Brady throws in his favorite plays and what he thinks would work best with the personnel he has to work with. They will have a game plan and allow Brady to audible when he wants. Like seriously, we all know that’s how it will be. We all know Brady won’t be writing the playbook himself and Arians won’t make him run an Offense that he can’t succeed in. Question over, done… Read more »

I saw a yahoo article where Warren Moon says he sees Tom Brady and Drew Brees arms falling off . . . towards the end of the season. He notes that it’s probably not necessarily the arm strength as the feet are getting tired.

Now, standing there throwing is different from running, and I’m sure Tom Brady runs some . . . and i’m sure it’s too late to get up to fifteen miles a day; but, sounds to me like maybe Tom Brady needs to do a lot more running. Three months, and once again, I’m sure he does some running, but it would be interesting to know how much he can scale up his running(if I’m right, that physical endurance training is the key for him)
