The Bucs placed cornerback Rashard Robinson on the injured reserve list on Friday. He was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a hamstring injury and did not participate at all on Thursday. Robinson was then ruled out for the game against Washington, along with Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown.

Robinson signed with the Bucs in late September and was promoted to the active roster on October 19. He’s done well playing in a special teams role, recording two tackles in five games. It’s unfortunate that Robinson will be out for at least the next three games. Luckily for the Bucs, they’re getting healthier at the cornerback position. Richard Sherman and Dee Delaney are expected to play this week.

With the roster at 52 players, Tampa Bay has a couple of options for the 53rd and final spot. There is the possibility that the Bucs could activate wide receiver Scotty Miller or cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, who have both been practicing this week and have a 21-day window to come off of IR. Miller suffered a turf toe injury in Week 3, while Murphy-Bunting dislocated his elbow in the season opener.

The Bucs are on the road against Washington at 1 pm on Sunday.
