The Bucs announced on Tuesday that they have placed rookie wide receiver Scotty Miller on the injured reserve following a hamstring injury suffered during Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Miller, Tampa Bay’s sixth-round pick out of Bowling Green in the 2019 NFL Draft, was only active for 10 games this season after suffering two previous hamstring injuries, his latest appearing to come on his first career touchdown, a 33-yard reception in the first quarter.

With his year officially over, the speedy Miller hauled in 13 passes for 200 yards (an average of 15.4 yards per reception) and one touchdown in his rookie season.

I feel bad for Scotty man! First TD and done. He’ll come back stronger next year! Go Bucs

Not a bad rookie season for Miller. Injury has limited his growth but the fact he was a contributor as a rookie during the season points to his arrow upwards. There was questions if he could make it as the pro level and it seems he looked comfortable out there against NFL caliber players.

Those small school guys always do have questions coming in, until they prove their doubters wrong. Kid can really take the top off the defense, which we needed. If he works out, I may have to change my name here. Lol

“Cant make the club in the rub!” Kid has flashed a couple of times, but always seems to be hurt. It will be interesting what this track star can do! Go Bucs!
