Bucs Practice Buzz is a weekly segment on Pewter Report’s YouTube channel Pewter Report TV where we highlight the biggest moments and clips from the day of practice from the Advent Health Training Center.

Thursday’s Week 4 attention still had a lot to do about rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels, but this time through the eyes of offensive coordinator Zac Robinson. Tampa Bay’s offensive coordinator needs to devise the right gameplan to get him ready for his first NFL start.

Along with that, Robinson has to figure out a way to get better pass protection from the whole team. The Bucs lead the league in sacks allowed, and it’s coming from everywhere. The offensive line isn’t blocking well enough, quarterbacks are holding onto the ball for too long, receivers aren’t getting open and running back’s can’t pick up the blitz.

Robinson spoke about what has gone wrong there while also commenting on the rotation of the running backs through three games. It’s been a heavy dose of Bucky Irving with very little of Kenny Gainwell and almost no Sean Tucker. Expect to see a little difference in the next game, especially more Tucker.

We head from co-defensive coordinator Larry Foote about why outside linebacker David Walker hasn’t played more and if the plan is for him to get an increase in snaps. Foote had praise for defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson, who has been a local leader for this group and has been the best free agent acquisition has made.

Also, Foote had a fun anecdote about the only time in his playing career where he started 0-2 (he never went 0-3) and how he’s looking forward to making history with this Bucs team after their 0-3 start.
