The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had been healthy through the first three days of padded practices – until Thursday when reserve running back and return specialist T.J. Logan went down and had to be carted off the field. Logan was tackled to the ground awkwardly and was seen grabbing his right leg near the end of Thursday’s full-padded 11-on-11 session.

Logan was screaming in pain and couldn’t put any weight on the right leg and was loaded up into the cart and taken to the training room.

“You never want to see a player down,” Bruce Arians said after practice. “Especially a guy having a camp as good as he was having. We’ll wait and see what’s happening with it, it’s still too early to tell, but we’ll wait and see.

“When it’s a non-tackling period I don’t want any tackling. When we’re tackling we tackle, but the last thing you do is grab a jersey. I can see on film if you made the tackle or not, we’ll see how it goes. There’s certain practice etiquette you have to follow, young guys tend to struggle with that.”

I hope is nothing serious. He is getting to be injury prone. Wasn’t he also injured last year?

Logan always gets hurt. Tough break for the guy. He was recently talked up by Bruce being a big part of the competition, for whatever thats worth.

When a man like Logan screams in pain after a leg injury, it is usually something like an ACL, MCL or torn something. I hope not.. but glad we have some depth and wish him the best. ,

Simple…he knows normal injuries and those that put him out for a time. He’s had pain, and he has to be a tough guy to deal with all the hits and pain. It isn’t as if he has been injury free, but yet he continues to to overcome them. That is the kind of man he is.
