PewterReport.com has learned that Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans and rookie inside linebacker Devin White will play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2019 season opener despite being sick towards the end of last week. Evans missed Friday’s practice with an illness, and White, who was the team’s first-round pick this year, missed Saturday’s walk through with an illness – although not the same illness that Evans had.

PewterReport.com received the good news on Saturday afternoon and full confirmation from a source on Sunday morning.

How much or how well both White and Evans play won’t be known until game time, but both are expected to start. Temperature at kickoff are supposed to be 92 degrees under sunny skies with a “feels like” temperature at or over 100 degrees. Hydration could be an issue during the game for both Evans and White.

The only two Buccaneers that will not play against the 49ers are free safety Justin Evans (foot) and backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert (shoulder).

Stay tuned to PewterReport.com for all the Bucs vs. 49ers post-game coverage on Sunday night.

Great news here. Figured Evans was a lock wasn’t sure about white. So excited for this season to start! Really happy Vita and David will be available too! Vea and suh collapsing the line and having our linebackers blitz will be awesome. Imagine staying healthy and getting JPP here soon too. There’s legitimate buzz on the defensive side of the ball for the first time in years and it’s amazing. It’s like having to wear work boots forever with no socks and now for the first time in a long time…you get socks with your boots baby. Rate this item:Thumb… Read more »

Hoping Vea and David are both 100% but glad they are playing none the less. Same for White and Evans Evans would been huge blow to us. I think Bucs could get by fine with Minter for White if had to.

Go Bucs!

As the games resume watch out in NFC south there is a new sheriff in town The Great Bruce Arians are the new swagger in town, Dirks x-team is no longer here to antagonize us. Back in the pocket #3  bombs away 40 50 yards with the big gun arm, and feet that can fleet in a flash. Grab a beer, Pewter Boys hold on tight it going to get exciting. Dig in friends, dreamy days of Buccaneer football are upon us… Read more »

This Douche needs to stop clogging up the feed, it’s too much to scroll through without reading! Only thing I happen to catch is how he Loves to mention specific names… That means that we are actually Trolling him which warms my Heart 😊 I’ll be bringing my Son to his first Football game today, so hopefully he can see a win! Unlike MY first Bucs game 😂 So glad to see us back at practically full strength. Even if Vea and David and Evans and White don’t play 100% of their typical snaps they are still there which gives… Read more »

Bucs are better off with Minter for White, Devin still needs more time in the system to be a starter.

What news today would bother me? not sure I understand, Just like you all am awaiting the first game. The best news would be I am wrong about Licht, Arians and Winston and Bucs built a contending team. My ultimate goal is for Bucs to win and bring back the crowds that have been runoff. Nothing beats being in a full stadium in December winning playoff games at home. That is what the NFL was built on, not the crap happing here in Tampa last 12 years with Glazer children. I am harsh and negative because of their past ten… Read more »

So, I just saw that the POS station in Orlando isn’t showing the Bucs today. What low-life losers they are. Anyone and everyone that works there eats shit.

The BA train begins its initial roll down the track today! Good news about Evans and White! It’s important that they be out there today! A new day and a new attitude. I’d really like to see the Bucs establish the running game today. If the the Bucs can become a threat running the ball then good things will happen in the passing game. It’s crucial that running game gets going! That will make us a truly two demensional threat team and we will open a can of whipass on our opponents. This offense has too many weapons for defenses… Read more »
