Bucs’ star wide receiver Mike Evans left the game with 1:06 remaining in the first quarter with a right hamstring injury. Evans scored a touchdown on the play where he was injured, burning right past Colts defender Pierre Desir on a go route for a 61 yard touchdown reception.

Evans limped into the end zone and then proceeded to lie on the ground before slowly walking off with trainers. Evans’ touchdown gave the Bucs a 14-10 lead in the first quarter. It was his eighth touchdown of the season. The Bucs then announced that Evans will be out for the remainder of the game.

  3. My guess is that Evans is grinning from ear to ear watching the other receivers step up and produce in his absence. Mike is a TEAM oriented guy. Give him a break against the Lions next week.

  4. Serious? A hamstring?
Nah, he’ll just probably be out for the rest of the season.
Justin Watson came up big as a replacement.

    • Arians already said he’d be surprised if he played the rest of the year. It’s a bad one

  6. Can’t see Evans playing again this year. Even a moderate hamstring pull will cause a player to miss 3 or 4 games. This didn’t look moderate to me.

We’ve got the talent to make up for the loss, but its a loss nonetheless.
