The return of long snapper Zach Triner off the COVID reserve list means the Bucs no longer has the need for a backup long snapper. So Tampa Bay released Garrison Sanborn from the practice squad.
Sanborn was signed to the practice squad last week in case Triner did not clear COVID protocol and return for the Bills game on Sunday. Triner passed the COVID test that was necessary for him to play against Buffalo and he started against the Bills.
