The Bucs have signed cornerback Rashard Robinson to their practice squad, according to Robinson’s agent David Canter from GSE Worldwide.

In a corresponding move, the Bucs have released cornerback Herb Miller from the practice squad, per Greg Auman of The Athletic.
Tampa Bay is trying to get as much depth as they can at corner with Sean Murphy-Bunting out for an extended period of time and Carlton Davis III and Jamel Dean both missing portions of Sunday’s game. If the Bucs needed to call up a corner from their practice squad to the main roster, Robinson provides much more experience.
Robinson played his college football at LSU and was picked in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the 49ers. He spent two seasons there, another two years with the Jets and was on the Cowboys practice squad last season after being out of the league for a year.
In 42 career games and 18 starts, Robinson has recorded 85 tackles, 15 pass breakups, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
With the Bucs exploring their options in the secondary, rumors have picked up that they have considered signing cornerback Richard Sherman. Bruce Arians confirmed on Monday that they did reach out to him, but they’d also kick the tires on some other players.
