In a position that has held some uncertainty as of late, the Bucs hope they have found their kicker for the foreseeable future, as a report from Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times says the team will sign kicker Chandler Catanzaro.

The details of the deal are three years, $9.75 million with $3.75 million guaranteed.

Catanzaro was signed by the Arizona Cardinals after going undrafted in 2014. He spent three years in Arizona. Following his time there, he signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets for the 2017 season. In it, he went 25-for-30 on field goals and was a perfect 29-for-29 on PATs.

I also just read that we were “in talks” with Morris Caliborne and that maybe we already made a deal for Tyron Mathieu….Also interests in bringing Claiborne (Adrian) back…..any thoughts?

Mathieu has lost a step as of late, but still remains an upgrade over the current roster. If his medicals check out I’m all for it.

Not sure about Adrian, he under produced here but found some success in ATL. With the DL in dire need of talent, it couldn’t hurt to give him another shot here.
