If you want to call it the icing on the cake, you can, but as of Thursday, the Bucs finally inked running back Ronald Jones and finalized their 2018 rookie draft class as official Buccaneers.

Per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Jones signed a four-year deal worth a total of $7.072-million, which included a signing bonus of $3.223 million.

Professional athletes get paid well. So well, I wonder why they haven’t made a difference in their communities. Instead of protesting this or that, be thankful you aren’t in Cuba, getting paid nothing. Our system, our way of life, the sacrifices others have made to give athletes this opportunity to be wealthy beyond imagination is the source of their wealth.
