The Tampa Bay Bucs survived a tough test in Week 2 when the team bested the Detroit Lions to become 2-0. However, the team hasn’t been without injuries and some backups will likely need to step up as the team attempts to become 3-0 versus the winless Denver Broncos.
Bucs defensive tackles Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey are both expected to miss this week’s matchup versus the Denver Broncos as they recover from knee and calf injuries, respectively.Â
Tampa Bay’s secondary is also expected to be missing some talent as All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield Jr and some of the team’s cornerbacks are expected to be out for some time after sustaining various injuries.
Luke Goedeke Remains Out For Bucs
Unfortunately, it seems like the offense will also be missing a key piece for the second week in a row. Bucs right tackle Luke Goedeke missed Thursday’s practice as he remains in concussion protocol.
Last week, Aidan Hutchinson recorded 4.5 sacks by himself just a week ago while facing Goedeke’s backup Justin Skule. If the starting right tackle cannot go this week versus Denver, then Skule could have another tough assignment playing against Zach Allen.
