Ian Rapoport announced on Monday that the Bucs have waived fourth-year receiver and return specialist Jaydon Mickens.

Originally signed to the Bucs’ practice squad during the 2019 offseason, Mickens had become Tampa Bay’s primary kickoff and punt returner in 2020 before being placed on the league’s reserve/COVID list prior to the team’s Week 10 match-up with the Carolina Panthers.

In Mickens’ absence, receivers Antonio Brown and Justin Watson, as well as running back Kenjon Barner, have taken over return duties for the Bucs.

Yes Mccoy sucks bad. He needs to retire he can’t catch or run he’s completely worthless now.

Mickens was reliable fielding punts and caught some good balls from Brady in the few chances he had, to my memory at least. Feel like there are a few others they could have let go of first. Hopefully they will be able sign him back onto the practice squad.
