The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently extended the contract of safety Jermaine Phillips, PewterReport.com has learned. Phillips, who was scheduled to become a restricted free agent at the end of this season, is now signed through the 2008 season. The Bucs have also extended fullback Mike Alstott's deal through 2008.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Anthony McFarland missed his second consecutive day of practice Thursday and is still questionable for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
