The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently extended the contract of safety Jermaine Phillips, has learned. Phillips, who was scheduled to become a restricted free agent at the end of this season, is now signed through the 2008 season. The Bucs have also extended fullback Mike Alstott's deal through 2008.

McFarland Misses Second Straight Practice
