Well "poached" might be one way of looking at it but if you would like the rest of the story.. http://www.stationcaster.com/p...1&f=2315513 Seems that Jeremy "Petrino" uh I mean Pruitt can't stay away from Tally Hotties much to the chagrin of his 23 year old fiancé Not that I have a problem with such things but when those become domestic issues too hot to handle It certainly would be time to get out of Dodge.. uh Tally! LOLDoubt much will change when he gets settled in Athens. I am sure there will be plenty of Georgia Peaches to be picked! :DHave to admit it didn't look very good for FSU and the "Alleged poaching". However, when the facts are presented, I can say honestly I am glad he is gone. FSU has had enough of its share of scandals. Don't need another one! ;)

Also, both guys have coached exclusively in the SEC prior to their jobs in the ACC.
He didn't know that
Apparently not.
disappointed in Pruitt. We gave this guy a shot to be a DC and he bolts after a year. right before signing day too. arrrrggg. he helped us win a title but leaving after only a year is really shady. i know position coaches want to be coordinators and coordinators want to be head coaches but this was a lateral move. if given a shot we could have matched or come to close to matching money. additionally, his defenses numbers would look better against ACC comp rather than trying to run through the SEC gauntlet. So staying in Tally would only pump up his resume even more. if he stayed here another 2-3 years and kept us in the top 10 defensively he'd have HC offers coming his way. maybe he is just a die-hard sec guy and jumped at the chance to return or maybe the scandal rumors have merit, either way the timing sucks. i'd strongly consider promoting from within to maintain continuity.

I guess you haven't heard why he really left. And its not money. The rumors make sense though. No reason for a guy to make a lateral move (is FSU to UGA lateral?) without other reasons.FSU's defense will be fine without him.
i heard the rumors, crazy if true. i hope we hire or promote a DC early this week so we dont miss a beat in recruiting.
