What are your thoughts on Kony Ealy out of Missouri? Have you had the chance to watch any film on him?
I'm not PR, nor anywhere NEAR their knowledge but I WILL say I like him as a pass rusher much more than his teammate, Sam.
The problem I have with Ealy is he does not use his hands and stops moving his feet once engaged with a blocker...

why is this? I haven't watched film on any guy, but am under the impression that sam is a smaller guy with a great first step and violent hands?
Thanks for the question Iwilborn. Ealy has great size (6-5, 275) and is an ok athlete, but I think he has a long way to go as a pure pass-rusher. I agree with Yucc when he says that Ealy doesn't use his hands well and he stops his feet when engages. One of the big things I look for in defensive lineman is a good motor and Ealy plays with nice energy. Others in the draft community have him ranked as a first-round prospect, but I believe he should be a second round pick.
Notice I didn't say he was an outstanding pass rusher; only that I like him better than I like his teammate Sam. However, I think Ealy will be a very good NFL DE but will not make an immediate impact as he DOES need considerable development. I DO think the talent is there to be brought out. I do NOT however, consider him a top 15 pick; indeed, I would not take him in the first round.
