Like everyone else I was ecstatic with the hire of Lovie Smith and the makeover of the team since his arrival. I enjoyed the first hundred days article and that also was most encouraging.However, it is STRIKE TWO on Little?? white lies! First it was the definitive naming of McCowan as the starting QB... and the logical conclusion that Glennon was not the answer at QB. I believe there were also remarks by the organization that this was the case. Suddenly the draft happens and NO QB is selected? And suddenly Glennon is the QB of the future for the BUCS? So WTF is the reality not filled with BS?Next we get 1st an article that Nix is likely to play. ( Understood that is just from the mullet head Cummings) no problem.. But then the Bucs give the reason? for Nix missing the first practice that was excused for personal reasons? YEH RIGHT! :'( NO it wasn't excused the Bucs were just ending his time with the organization due to that nagging injury.Hey I understand totally that common sense says Nix was a huge gamble to play and certainly the Bucs realized this SO WHY NO GUARD drafted until the 5th ROUND? There is no need for the organization to play this double talk stuff to the public. Quit slinging the BS! Once you lose the trust of the fans you lose everything.Rant over! :-[
