Now that the Shrine Game practices have concluded, I thought that I might pass along to you my observations while viewing the players at practice.  I was only able to watch the East team practice on Monday, and that was only 1 hour 40 minutes long, so I do not have an extended list of players from that team.  The players that I saw that made very good plays, or at least put forth an extra effort while making a play, are as follows: East team Offense: 1 Allen Hurns WR Miami, 8 Crockett Gillmore TE Colorado St., 20 Rajion Neal RB Tennessee, 27 La Darius Perkins RB Mississippi St., 76 Matt Hall OT Belhaven, Mississippi, 77 Antwan Lowery OG Rutgers, 80 Jeremy Gallon WR Michigan, 81 Patrick Laird WR Army, 84 Matt Hazel WR Coastal Carolina, 85 Ja'mes Logan WR Mississippi.  East team Defense: 3 Pierre Desir Cor. Lindenwood, 14 Jemea Thomas Saf. Georgia Tech., 26 Ross Cockrell Cor. Duke, 96 Jason Bromley D line Syracuse. The West team I was able to view all four days, thus I have a list of notable players that is a bit longer.  West team Offense: 2 John Brown WR Pitt. St., 6 Bernard Reedy WR Toledo, 18 Quincy Enunwa WR Nebraska, 81 Seantavius Jones WR Valdosta St., 89 Chandler Jones WR San Jose State, 20 Timothy Flanders RB Sam Houston St., 24 Brennan Clay RB Oklahoma, 31 Ben Malena RB Texas A & M, 48 Jordan Najvar TE Baylor, 64 Gabe Ikard OC Oklahoma, 71 Jeremiah Sirles OT Nebraska, 76 Danny Kistler Jr. OT Montana, 78 Charles Leno Jr. OT Boise St.  West team Defense: 5 Shaquille Richardson Cor. Arizona, 22 Bene Benwikere Cor. San Jose St., 23 Carrington Byndom Cor. Texas, 25 Marcus Williams Cor. North Dakota St., 27 Stephen Obeng-Agyapong Saf. Penn. St., 41 Tyler Starr LB South Dakota, 44 Max Bullough LB Michigan St.Keep in mind that my view was often blocked by that mass of humanity of players on the field, so when watching at ground level some good plays may have been out of my view.  Also, there are about 114 players  involved in this game, so there should be many opportunities for you to view good plays from anyone on the field.  I hope that you will enjoy the game, many of these players will be in the NFL next season.

Good info, RB4TampaBay, I really liked LaDarius Perkins and think he could fit as a third down back for an NFL team. I'm excited to see how he performs at the game today. I also think center Gabe Ikard will find his way onto a roster.
