New Bucs head coach Lovie Smith's squad is coming together quickly as reports say Smith has hired Jeff Tedford to lead the Bucs offense, and then late Friday evening ESPN reported that former Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier will be the Bucs defensive coordinator. https://www.pewterreport.com/index.php?option=com_k2&Itemid=20&view=item&layout=item&id=9551
What an excellent choice! Leslie Frazier is proven, a coach whom Lovie can easily work with and who will instantly command respect from the players. I very much look forward to seeing who the Bucs get as position coaches now. I know one thing, players AND coaches will want to come to Tampa more than ever. And who knows? Maybe a Rod Marinelli or Kieth Millard still ends up coaching the DL. Jerruh Jones could still be letting Monte Kiffen go, Marinelli could follow. The Texans are going through another coaching change, Millard could become available.Bottom line? I really like what I'm seeing from One Buc recently and it continues with Frazier joining as DC.
Ex head coach with a winning record coming in as a DC. Hmmm! This is getting interesting.
